Tuition fees and scholarships

Tuition fees

Following tuition fees apply:

Participants from Tuition fee per academic year
Programme Countries* 4 500 €
Partner Countries 9 000 €

*) EU Member states + Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Turkey.

Tuition fees cover the following services:

  • teaching and examination
  • access to computing, library and electronic resources
  • short field-trips related to a particular module
  • language classes that are an integral part of the programme

The following are not included in tuition fees:

  • travel to/from the teaching institutions
  • costs related to visa and residence permits
  • accommodation and personal living expenses
  • course literature
  • personal computers

The fees shall be paid in accordance with university regulations and conditions set out in the Student Contract.

EMJMD scholarships

In case you do not expect to get other sholarships (see below) or you already have secured financing for the entire course, you may apply for one of the EMJMD scholarships managed by the programme.

NOTE: Each academic year you may apply for sholarships in maximum three EMJMD programmes, see the official EMJMD catalogue. These scholarships may not be granted to any previous holders!

The amounts for the entire course are:

*) To qualify for a Programme Country scholarship, you must prove at least 12 months residency.
**) Targeted regions for the programme are: IPA (Western Balkans); ENI: East (Arminia, Modova etc), South (North Africa, Middle East etc); DCI: Asia, Latin America (except Brazil/Mexico); ACP (several low-income countries). See also the section Who should apply.

Subsistence grants are paid only during months of study, and not during time spent in your contry of residence. Additional conditions apply. EMJMD scholarship holders are covered by insurance during the study period, including travel to/from the teaching institutions.
